We are open in summer from 13.06. until 05.10. and in winter from 02.12. until 19.04..

Bar / Lounge

Our communication and information area, with the reception on the top floor, serves as a meeting point both for breakfast in the breakfast room, and for a glass of fine wine or a pleasant chat in the evenings at the bar or by the fireside.

Architecture

The MATS is defined by clean lines and functionality, without sacrificing any of the cosy warmth. Thanks to the L-shaped design, all apartments and rooms are sunny with magnificent views overlooking the mountains of Lech. A balcony and terrace will extend your living space, bringing you closer to nature.

In the planning stages, a lot of emphasis was placed on the use of natural materials (wood, stone, loden and linen) by local craftsmen. We attempted to integrate tradition, modern trends and technology into a harmonious structure in order to create the best possible private space.

MATS Living

Our hotel offers you a wide range of activities and recreational opportunities.

Experience our garden, the reading corner, the “MÄTSCHEN” children’s playroom or network yourself.

You will also find a ski room, our small house shop, the connoisseur lounge and an underground garage in the hotel.

Rent your bikes, bobsleighs or snowshoes directly at our reception.

Nestled between majestic mountains, lush meadows and impressive woods, MATS LECH ALPENQUARTIER claims its place in Lech am Arlberg.

Fascinating nature right in front of your eyes. Sunshine and tranquillity at your fingertips, and yet only a few minutes’ walk from the village centre.

Your car can take a holiday of its own in our underground garage.
(Winter € 20,-/day, Summer € 10,-/day)
For motorcycles, bicycles, mountain bikes and e-bikes there is free parking in our garage.

E-Mobility & E-Charging Station

Hotel guests are able to charge their electric vehicle in our garage for free. A charger is available for all electric vehicles.

You can arrive before 6 p.m. any day of the week.

Please let us know your estimated arrival time, should you be arriving later on.

On the day of arrival, your room/apartment will be available from 3 p.m. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your luggage and car with us and in the meantime, until your room/apartment is ready, you can use our pool or experience the variety of Lech.

Caution: The Warth – Lech road is closed in winter!

You can also get here by train and bus/taxi.

Destination station: St. Anton am Arlberg or Langen am Arlberg

From there you can take a bus or taxi to Lech. (Travel time approx. 20-30 min.)

LECHWEG

The long-distance trail Lechweg attracts one of the last wild-flow river areas of Europe and allows its guests 125 km of easy wandering in one of the most beautiful alpine regions. The hiker accompanies the Lech from its source near the Formarin lake to the Lechfall in Füssen in the Allgäu.

Climbing a mountain peak in the morning and playing a nice round of golf in the afternoon. The golf course in Zug (9 holes) offers purest joy of playing in a dreamlike natural setting. Experience the beautiful mountain world in Lech and enjoy golfing on the highest golf course in Austria.

The E-Bike and Mountainbike routes around Lech Zürs are diverse and varied. There is something for beginners and recreational cyclists, as well as experienced trail cyclists and fans of high altitudes. Huts and meadows along the way provide opportunities for a well-earned rest.
